Halfway between bush beans and pole beans, half runners can be used as a snap, shell or dry bean. Particularly popular in the South, but early enough to be enjoyed in the North USA. Tender pods, 4 to 4 ½-in. long, have wonderful sweet, beany flavor. High yielding if regularly picked. White seeded.
