Nantes F1 with 16 - 20 cm long x 4 cm wide, cylindrical shaped, roots with good internal and external quality. The core size is average and the skin is reasonably smooth. Strong medium to long foliage allows good mechanical harvesting. This early maturing (Summer 100 - 110 & Winter 120 - 150 days from sowing) variety is adaptable to a range of growing conditions and can be grown all year in temperate climates producing consistently uniform & high quality harvests of dark orange colored roots. Intermediate resistance to Alternaria with excellent tolerance to bolting this variety has proven to excel in even harsh growing conditions
